Janbo Express in Draper

Foods delicious. It's one of the only Chinese food places we can eat at as a family because of food allergies (msg, shellfish, treenuts, red food coloring). We've not had a problem with cross contamination, which is awesome! It's great being able to get takeout without worrying! Our favorite dish is the sesame chicken.

Always a treat to do takeout from Janbo. Beef and broccoli, lettuce wraps, dumplings, and chicken chow mein always hit the spot. Been around for years and local favorite.

I used to like eating here but now they no longer let you do substitutions (even if you will pay more) and even if your order is at $17.99 they won’t deliver because it HAS to be $18, they won’t make any exceptions. They are so hard to work with, won’t deliver over a penny. Even when you’re paying a tip for the driver. Insane! I’m disabled and can’t drive very often. The fact that they wouldn’t deliver an order because I was pennies from their minimum and they’re a local business and could easily bend the rules but just won’t...that’s just terrible business. Won’t ever eat there again. Money hungry and just want to take take take.

I was pleasantly impressed. I’m very difficult to please when it comes to Take Out. They really did a good job. The price was very good and we got a TON of food. I will add this to my list of good takeout. I had the walnut scrimp and sweet and sour chicken. We really enjoyed it.

Found this gem a few years ago. It's a great family ran restaurant with quality food and portions big enough for leftovers.Best orange chicken and ham fried rice in the valley!

Great food for a reasonable price. Love it.

Inconsistent food. Sometimes good sometimes not. Service as well. Sometimes great and other times, like tonight, they say your food isn’t ready, make you wait 40 minutes only to find it was there the whole time and no one checked. Frustrating. No apology, just a shrug.

I have not had Chinese food THIS GOOD and THIS FAST and THAT CHEAP in a long time. I lived in Asia for over a year, work in an Chinese food restaurants and know my Chinese food well. This is certainly a ***take out*** place, they have the bare bones setup for about 20 people, it's no family restaurant. The chefs came out while I was there and ate lunch, they are the real deal Asian cooks. Holy cow, I have never enjoyed this Chinese food so much. It's really really good and a fair price. I will certainly go there again and again.

Grew up near by and have been eating here for years. It has become my bar for other quick Chinese food places. It’s great, inexpensive and I am always greeted and treated well. We always stop by when we are back in Draper.

Small family owned restaurant with delicious food. No frills dining room, but the food makes up for it. We order take out a few times a month and for nearly every party we throw.

Friendly and kind staff. Great service and food. One of my go to places that the entire family loves.

This was ok food. The lemon chicken was actually really good, but in both of the other dishes we tried the meat (one beef, one chicken) tasted old.

I order about twice a week from this place it's so good. The quality of the food is always great and I have never had an issue for the 2 years I have ordered from Janbo! Love it 100%

Always order from them. I never leave reviews for restaurants but this one is seriously my favorite one!They delivery if you live close, food is so super cheap and delicious! They're really simple and nice. Delivery is super fast. I absolutely love them! Give them a try.

I'm not even a picky Chinese food eater and we straight up threw our Janbo takeout away and had leftovers for dinner. Everything is so deeply battered and fried there is no taste. Only positive I saw was the portions were big.

I absolutely love this place! The sesame chicken dinner is my favorite. :) This is the only place that I will get take out Chinese food anymore. Delicious!

Nice staff, quick service - pretty good food. We don't dine-in; just get take out. They always have a coupon for free egg rolls or wontons which is nice.

Friendly staff and good Chinese soups! The small soup serving is actually big enough for one person, and not very expensive (~$3).

Typical American Chinese food. Service is always quick, food always hot, and portions are big. The dinner combo gives you a light variety and is less than $10.00.

This was my favorite Chinese food place until they changed the orange chicken and now it is trash. I will not be going back. I have been going there for a long time too:(

After years of ordering the restaurant has changed the menu and the chicken now tastes like trash and the sauce is all dried out. They've now decreased their delivery to a 3 mile area which was the only reason we still ordered from them. If I have to drive to pick it up I prefer The Red Dragon Bistro on 106th South anyway. The food there is a million times better than this place and you can just drive through and pick up your order.

I love this place. It’s my absolute go to for Chinese food. And to top it off, I’ve never seen a place more covid-proof. It’s awesome

Empire wok just down the street is much better! I've been a very loyal customer to janbo Express for at least 7 years but they've changed their recipe over the last couple of years and the quality over the last two years is so bad I'll NEVER eat there again! Every time I order I tell myself "maybe its changed " and am very upset that it's the new nasty orange chicken. I do wish you the best, janbo but if you cant keep loyal customers coming back you'll soon be a thing of the past. P.s I only need a reply IF YOU GO BACK TO THE OLD ORANGE CHICKEN THAT MADE ME LOVE YOU SO MUCH

Very well kept and welcoming restaurant. They offer generous meals and for affordable prices. I enjoyed the meals very much and the staff were super welcoming and informative. I recommend this place.

Used to love this place, but it is mediocre, at best. Sadly, the food has gone downhill and the prices up. Good for a quick bite, but there are other places around that I would rather be.

Absolutely BEST General Tso Chicken in the valley.

The dining area was very cold. Service was average; the server pointed me where I could get hot mustard instead of getting it for me. Isn't that the job of a server? Food was hot but the quality and taste was average. I thought they over charged for average food.

I don't do reviews often but I do when I feel a place deserves it. Dont listen to other reviews I bought lunch for 2 people today with 2 drinks for 16$ the food was very good and was supper fresh amazing place to eat.

I would have given 5 stars but recently Janbo has changed the sauce on my favorite General Tsao chicken and I don’t like the taste anymore, it tastes more like orange chicken and I don’t like orange chicken. From other reviews it sounds like all the sauce is different and it is gross. I’m so bummed now I have to look for a new Chinese food restaurant...

This is my new favorite Chinese place!!!! Ever since moving to Draper, I’ve been on the search for an amazing Chinese place. Huge WIN with this find!!! Egg rolls are great and so is the lo mein! Plus they deliver! :) we will definitely be back.

Hey love you guys.. it feels so good to have comfort food delivered to our house.... Yummy everything thing that is on our plate...

It's a small family-owned restaurant, so service is limited, but the staff is very friendly. The food is great, and you get very large portions for a very reasonable price. They were willing to customize a bit on request, which is always cool. This is a go-to for me when I'm bringing food home, and I highly recommend it, but for dining-in, it might be a little on the less comfortable side.

Our favorite spot for quick Chinese takeout!

I’ve eaten here for years and now they’ve changed their orange chicken recipe. It tastes completely different to me and not nearly as good. I’ll continue to try the new recipe to see how it turns out after a few tries eating it.
